Best time to take the Triund Trek

 

Apart from January and February, this trek can be taken at any time of the year. Due to snowfall, a few sections of the trail get inaccessible during the winters. The ideal time to take the trek is between March and June owing to the clear views of the surroundings and the soothing weather conditions.

It doesn’t require ending at Triund – If your soul does not feel satisfied by the small duration of trekking you need not be disappointed as you can trek further to the serene Kareri Lake. This is the place where you can explore the ancient rock-cut caves with your friends.

 

You can experience night camping – You can hire a tent and spend the night in the valley gazing at the starry sky. You can find various other enthusiasts doing the same. The night stayover is quite a popularly practiced activity at Triund.
